Zion > Scaife

Scaife should be our RT or backup RT. Campbell is an OG in an OT body. Scaife is the opposite.

Even if Williams leaves early, we actually should have a dang good OL in 2021. 2022 could be good as well so long as the young guys continue to develop.
Easy there big fella!

Campbell at LG and Donaldson at rg if he’s ready.
Scaife had 5 drive ending plays - I wasn't keying in on him for the game, so I'm assuming that was just the tip of the iceberg.

Despite this they didn't put Donaldson in. I think it's safe to say he's not ready.

Agree, as does the eye test. But what does Justice think? Will he cling to the prototype and continue to project Campbell as a T with an eye toward '21, even at the expense of '20? Does Rivers development factor into that equation? Co-Vid's delaying answers along those lines. For all of his strengths, will Lashlee be flexible enough to break the prototype to get his best 5 OL on the field?
Interestingly, for all the criticism of the defensive staff, they've come around, albeit gradually, on several fronts. Ford's been benched and made to earn his keep - paying dividends today. Carter's getting a look at LB (finally) on 3rd downs. The young LB's have gained reps on the elder statesmen. Couch' s reps have increased drastically, and is being featured in blitz packages.

Agree Donaldson isn’t there yet, I did watch scaife closer than usual and he was beat like a drum repeatedly.

BREAKING NEWS! Scaife is a RT. I think he's a better RT than Williams. Scaife is playing out of position. It's the coaches job to put the best players in a position to help the team win ball games.

I dont care if Scaife is playing out of position or not. I think I could fall/dive at somebody's feet every play and provide a second longer of protection that what he is giving King right now. It's like he dressed up as Matt Pipho for Halloween and forgot to take the costume off

Scaife had all the hype. Zion had to work hard ti make his name. Interesting dynamic....

Scaife cant handle stunts or anything close to a pass rushing move when in a standard drop back pass protection situation. I counted 3 sacks in that situation that were directly his fault yesterday.

Scaife needs to hit the **** weight room harder... doesn’t look like a guard at all...

Not to mention he needs to work on those twists and stunts that the Dline have been running on him... their gonna keep doing it till he figures out how to pass off and pick up the next defender

once williams leaves scaife needs to play tackle or be benched he is just not a guard. Campbell the same but vice versa.

Since Zion has been put in the lineup he’s the best. Uva he graded out in the 90’s pass blocking. Nobody else was close.
I love Zion. I think i’m biased because we had such trouble blocking in the games in which Williams didn’t play.

This supports the eye test. Williams has been good in pass blocking:
