Zion Nelson SIAP

He's gonna be GREAT in the end guys.

Disregard the fact that no programs wanted him and he's a terrible football player.

I have to say, overall, the line had its best game of the season last night. Kosi was clean for the most part and they were opening up holes for the running game. Hopefully they can build on the past 2 weeks of better performances.

Maybe he put on too much wt too quick!!

Everyone raved about him gaining 50lbs but maybe it has slowed him down a full step or two.

once you committed to it, you almost have to stick to it ... the issue is we're not scheming to his weaknesses ... we have to chip with backs and TE ... jordan is athletic enough to chip and still get into a route ... it's actually a move toward the future that just has terrible growing pains right now

Agreed. What's behind him isn't better. If it was, he wouldn't be playing. This is the 5. They suck, but they're the best we got.

Right now he's as effective as a parking cone, and knowing that, we keep making it worse by expecting him to win reps he's proven over and over he can't.

Equally concerning is Donaldson. In short, fat and lazy. He never looks for any work, and when he engages, the effort is terrible. Lining up on a 6'5" 330 LB upperclassmen MIAMI G should be punishment for a DL, and if he's on the second level, life threatening.

To be fair, he did a MUCH better job of finding someone to block last night than he had in the first five weeks.

After 6 games he’s at best the same player he was vs UF. For the people that say “he will be a good one,” where is the proof? He isn’t getting better the more snaps he’s playing. Isn’t that the sign of a player that is on the ascent? He’s not just making physical mistakes. He looks completely lost most of the time

So who is the LT behind Nelson? Kai-Leon Hebert?
He was pretty highly rated coming out of hs. How has he looked in action in years past?

He’s getting beat by poor technique. His kick is terrible. Keeps getting beat around the end. When you know you have inside help and you still refuse to get enough depth on your kick🤷🏻‍♂️

I believe Nelson wrecking us this season will make him a very good player in the future he will be good to great next season, is it worth it? Not sure

The problem is we don't have anyone else to replace him. Kennedy and Herbert must be significantly worse then Nelson in practice.

He should have dropped 30LBs before the season started. I'm sure the coaching staff asked him but he likely eats to much

Unless the guys behind him are ****eyed and bowlegged, it's hard to believe any college football-aged male could be worse.

Manny started Patchan over genetic God Rosseau for half the season, so thinking the kids behind Zion aren't better just because they don't start isn't a safe assumption.
