Zero Talent - ZERO

unless CMC changes and becomes a CEO,( recruiting, culture etc) and lets his OC and staff run the O their is a limit to how far he can go........stop micro managing
this mess lies at his feet since every staff hire, needs the courage to change.
Fischer at TAMU is in same boat, he lets go of offense they will bounce back, why do i think Jimbo is more capable of change than CMC,,,,,,,, just awful to watch, awful..... and to think this guy(CMC) won a Rose bowl
Who says Cristobal is micro managing?

All we had to do this year was just re-use Lashlee’s playbook, and we’d have won 8 games.

But some genius decided to use an antiquated offensive system that requires a ton of top talent… which we don’t have.
We didn't have Rambo and Harley, champ, so it wouldn't have mattered too much.

Plus, you can't delay your philosophy as a new coach to please one player or get an extra 2 - 3 wins in a season where you're not competing for the division.

This is a rebuild, but we're one season closer to the real deal.

I think our "talent" is severely overrated, but it's deeper than that; Manny lost to FIU with these players...

Gattis called several TD plays, but the "talent" couldn't complete simple pitch and catch or remain in bounds to get in the endzone.

If you can't acknowledge the impact of Mario's coaching in terms of how we compete then, respectfully, we're not gonna find common ground.
Manny didn't lose to FIU with these players. A few, yes, but not most of them. That QB room was a huge mess. The QB room going into this year was a strength. Well, until Mario and Gattis worked their tragic magic.

But I agree with you. There is a gut rot in and around this program. Now, it appears we have a staff full of washed up con men collecting their golden parachutes.

Biggest problem is Gattis, he is the cancer here. He is D'Onofrio reincarnated on the offensive side of the ball. Steele has shown the ability to coach up the defense.

This is a rebuild. think of it as being that much closer to the real deal.

So two players meant our offense regresses 80 places?

Champ, in a rebuild you are laying the building blocks for the future, and attracting talent by being competitive is key in that. The players that we have, especially on offense, are not going to be the ones executing “the new offense” when the time comes, as they will have graduated by next year or been replaced by more talented players.

You can slowly introduce concepts that are going to be important to your future offense over time, especially as you give younger players more playing time and want them to learn the right habits.

I’m all in favor of killing the current season for the sake of future ones, but 100 yard games full of HB dives aren’t exactly teaching anyone anything, champ.

It's called coaching. Our COACHES don't put our players in position to make plays. We have a roster full of 3 and 4 star players that most big programs fought over. MTSU has 1 star players, but coaches that could at least get them into position to make plays against Miami. MTSU, by the way, is 5-5. They are NOT a talented team. They just ran into the biggest **** show on turf when they played us. That's coaching. Ours suck.
LMMFAO. Do you think Cormani will get ROASTED like Ivey did? You are completely lost.
