Oregon.... Lanning is very confident game coach & Gabriel is fulfilling 5* talent
OSU forever the college team I despise, Day is top notch most NFL dudes
Bama DeBoer proved it Sat. night lots of NFL dudes Simpson QB is tough
Miami most complete team deep on both sides, Super Mario still scares me
UGA lots of NFL dudes, lacks talent at some position groups
others
Indiana Cignetti stone cold killer, Ol Ms doubtful with Kiffin, LSU no O line
PSU Franklin must regret QB decision ,OU great D doubts on Venables and no QB at the moment. FSU just not enough depth or defensive difference makers
sat night is huge for us..... lets come out and handle business

I don’t get the bama love. They looked like ******* against FSU. Basically played the same game against Georgia but Georgia’s coach’s smoke their own crack. They can’t run the ball or put pressure on the other teams QB.

OSU
Oregon
Miami
UGA
Oklahoma (with Mateer)

Ole Miss is a fringe top 15 team. A&M isnt a top 5 team.

So UGA just lost, at home, to an Alabama team who got pushed around by fsu, and they’re the 4th best team in the country? And bama isn’t?

Don’t get me wrong, I bet a pretty nice amount of money that UGA would win, and they could’ve (should’ve?). But they didn’t and it wasn’t fluky. The games have to matter.

Miami

Ole Miss
ATM/OU

I think ATM has a more manageable schedule. OU has a brutal schedule left. The OU-Ole Miss game will be interesting.

I could be talked into any one of OSU, Oregon or Miami being someone’s #1.

I’d have Ole Miss, TAMU, Bama, Penn State, ND and OU in the second group. I personally don’t think Bama loses again, and I think they’d boat race FSU if they played again.

Agree with the list, watching teams like Ole Miss, Texas, Bama, UGA, Penn State in that tier 2

September is always early impressions, but October is when you show your true colors of the type of team you really are
I agree. November records should be ignored when discussing who should be in the playoffs.

My rankings are how good a team is, not what their record is. Same reason I wouldn’t rank FSU ahead of Bama, bc they aren’t better than them even though they beat them.

Simpson got hot and Bama held on. That got dominated in the 2nd half and held scoreless. UGA gifted them a free FG with a fumble inside their own 15 and didn’t take the 3 to tie it. UGA ran for 7 a carry and Bama couldn’t run it. It was clear who was the better team.

Tier 1
- Miami, Ohio State, Oregon

Tier 2
- Notre Dame, aTm, Indiana, PSU, Texas, Georgia, Bama, Ole Miss, Tennessee

Tier 3
- Iowa State, Texas Tech, Missouri, Oklahoma, Michigan, LSU, Vanderbilt, USC, Illinois, FSU

Tier 3.5
- South Carolina, Utah, BYU, Louisville, TCU, Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Miss St, Auburn, Iowa

Teams that could have been higher but may have given up on the season
- Clemson, Arkansas, Florida
After Saturday, you can add FSU to that last tier.

Notre Dame had some Mark Guidry like issues with Chris Ash, players absolutely confused. We made it easier on them with how conservative we were. This week they greatly simplified their defense and played well. They will likely win 10 in a row, and if Miami and A&M standup, they will be in the playoff. They know they need style points, so bet them. They will be trying to run it up. They faked a punt up 4 TDs against Ark. 🤣

Clear? Meh

And this is coming from someone who bet UGA. Was a pretty even game tbh. Bama was I think 13/19 on 3rd down. Can’t say you clearly beat someone when you can’t get them off the field all night. They ran 20 something more plays.

How about I have my opinion & everyone else can have theirs?

Or was there a memo I missed where what I think is supposed to be pre-approved by the hivemind?
I’m just saying my opinion lol People pumping GT up in the media like crazy and their point differential in 3 combined P4 games is +11 lol

Meanwhile Miami is +22 from 2 games lol

Ohio State-Best overall defense in college football, best WR in CFB, young, accurate QB, and lots of depth.
Oregon-Most explosive offense, with a good QB, very solid on defense as well.
Miami-Balanced, probably best Oline/Dline Combo, along with a veteran QB and reliable pass catchers.
Texas A&M-Stinging defense, with explosive playmakers on offense, also a QB that can make plays with arm and legs
Ole Miss-Their defensive front looks good, still looks like a Lane Kiffin team offensively
This would also be my 5
