How Has Your Opinion of Al Golden Changed Since 11/10/12?

We have two (regular season) games left this year and at that point last year we also had two games left.

Golden ain't going nowhere. If you have 20 million dollars you can donate to buy out his contract, then you can talk. Otherwise, STFU and stop whining. Female ****.

What's the point of this thread? To complain about Al Golden? What good does that do?

All it does is hurt recruiting (because recruits do read this board) and there is no chance in **** Golden is fired because of his extension. So you're really just whining about something you can't change all while hurting the program a little bit by negatively impacting our recruiting.

All because you're emotional. We get it.
 
I honestly did not make this thread to bash Golden. I wanna see what people think of him.

Don't turn it into something else because you don't like me or agree with my views on him.

Honestly, better.

My gameday opinion of him has never been very high anyways, but the last 12 months he has been a beast off the field and recruiting. I know noone wants to discuss positives right now, but we've got some.

Agree. That doesn't mean I think he is above criticism for the way the team has played the last several weeks. Get it fixed, AG.
 
For me lower: I knew he was a beast off the field already last year and continues to be this year. Still a positive.

At this point last year I still thought D struggles were primarily lack of talent/playing young guys. The continued lack of aggression in both the defense and in game calls has me concerned.

No doubt. That's the main reason why we need to win out. Even though it might risk keeping Dorito around longer, we need the recruits we have committed along with others that are on the fence. We win out, win a bowl and have 10 wins, we could bring in some stellar players. I just hope that 3 more wins doesn't reflect well on Dorito. He has to go when all is said and done.

Truth be told, the fact that Al still hasn't canned his *** is why in spite of all the good, I still have an overall negative view of him.
 
This year has definitely had a negative effect on my opinion of Al Golden and my confidence in his plan.

I don't know how it couldn't.

Not one thing has changed my opinion of him! I sat in the Casino at the beginning of the season and could tell after the first couple of games there would be a day of reckoning later in the season. We are lacking all kinds of talent on D, I told my buddy over and over, when we start playing better talent we will start losing. It all starts with the D line, we don't have one, they are terrible. Linebackers are just as bad, db's very average. The younger players will be better, they still have to get stronger, they new class is a difference maker. Saban would lose 3 games if he took over this team, maybe 4. It is what it is!
