I understand. I won’t even bother commenting on this except to say I see the same type issues in little league coaching. Hard to believe the disconnects that can occur even at the highest levels with millions of dollars at stake.

They're going to fire Blake James, someone's head has to roll, but they can't hire anyone credible unless they're willing to change themselves. UM has a history of promising people the world, but then quickly hampering them with an impossible set of ground rules, e.g. "you're in charge, but here's 5 people you can't fire or reassign." This has been their reputation for decades, and not just in athletics.

As for coaching, yeah, aside from the obvious-- Alabama, Clemson-- we seldom play a team whose staff would not get more out of us than our own coaches.

#3, when you say we, do you mean ex players or the University? As in, is the Blake James nightmare really almost over?
 
The best prescription a doctor gave a patient I over him say was this.

Whatever your doing do the opposite and you’ll be fine no medications .

Seeing sick obese patients want just higher doses of drugs to hide issues.

Sounds familiar here

Días playing in this coastal made him look a lot better as a DC 16’-18’ than what he really is. His Defense was always overrated. Anyone with a clue could see his Defense was a gimmick show and ineffective with anyone with a pulse. People fell in love with stats (misleading), blitzes and TO chains because D’Onofrio was so bad. Our Defense is exactly the same today.

Isnt that partly and NCAA thing? I know earlier in the year they sent out guidelines that cut back contact in practice

Is it??? I don’t recall seeing that. If that’s the case, we need to do something different. Have never seen tackling so bad like we’ve witness over our last 5-6 games.
