This university is not hiring Freeze so you can forget that. USC had their guy and they got him. LSU got their guy. I don’t think the Lane train crew (and if you go back through my posting history, I’m team Lane) understands he’s not a really viable option here.

It has nothing to do with On the field success - it’s the off the field stuff. He’s banging co-eds, he f^cked Saban’s daughter, he tells his staff to go buy him drugs, cribby basically alluded to all of this - that he’s a shady person and could bring more harm than good.

Do I want to win? **** yeah, and I think Lane is a better coach. But if the baggage is too much, and Rad sees that, then it’s just not happening.

Absolutely incredible arguments, you guys. Again I’m not anti Mario but there are some top notch coaches apparently interested in the job and I doubt we’ve even given them the time of day. That is my issue
