Hallandale is the closest one to me and that place is always packed. Gotta hope to get a seat at the bar because you’re waiting 45 minutes for a table pretty much every night.

Pompano is an animal into itself. The location is ok. Not awful, but not great. The "clientele" appear to be battling various stages of cirrhosis, cocaine addiction, unemployment and dental loss. It's not incredibly different than the crowd that would assemble at the old Orange Bowl Bar or the Mos Eisley Cantina. Given your experience, am I really that far off?
