You have to stop by Flanigans when you are in Miami

Back in the 70’s Flanigans were around, but not close to Campus. Shorty’s for ribs and bbq. Rarely left campus to drink once the Rat opened. A lot less hassle from the CG police. Been to quite a few Big Daddy’s. I live in Lake Worth and have 2 within 3miles from me. Cheap beer good food.🙌🏽

Can't show the menu and not post the food.

@SWFLHurricane would never
Speaking of which.....alittle concoction i made for me & GF.

Been over 40 years since I’ve been in a Flanagan’s. Surprised they’re still around. I have a cousin who’s played bass guitar in bands all over SFL and has played in a few of them and Big Daddy’s as well.

Agreed. I’ve been making ribs for so many years…I’m hearing of a new style of ribs. Party ribs. Cut them before cooking and finish like burnt ends.
My buddy did some like that recently and they were good but it feels blasphemous to hack up ribs before smoking them

I love flanny’s but I fkn hate their nachos with a passion.

The ratio of toppings to chips is slack af. Their chili is way too fkn sweet and they don’t even give you enough of it. Then you’re left to deal with a metric ****ton of chips with nothing on them.

Best nachos I’ve had are surprisingly at Hooters and they’re almost bankrupt so who knows how long they’ll be around for.
The only time you ever get Falnnigans nachos is Mexican Monday when they’re free with a pitcher. I don’t feel bad if I don’t have to pay for them because otherwise they’re terrible.

blasphemous would be boiling the ribs.

this feels like it would be good...or we make both.
