You can blame Gattis, but it’s Mario

Let’s say for argument sakes that you are right. Mario is not the answer.

Do you actually think after one season that the University of Miami is going to fire Mario? No chance. None. Zero. Zippo. Nilch.
No idea but I will personally put up 30 mil for the buyout if I hit the PB tonight

Thanks OP, I Blame Gattis.

Tonight we lined up with 4 OL one split out wide to run Brown up the middle...and got an illegal formation flag.

I blame the players.

Exactly!

Just like I tell my investors all the time, just give me the money now & don’t worry about it when you’ll get your return, in 10 or 20 something years we’ll all be richer than we are now, or dead.

Then they always say something about a ponzi scheme or something like that, but once I get the money I stop listening...
You on fire tonight, brother!

Mario wants a power spread offense that can be multiple. He wants to one series run 12 personnel while running the ball and using play action and killing the clock then maybe later run 11 personnel while Uptempo and airing it out. The problem with that is the playbook is massive and it makes things difficult to learn. It's why the offense looks like we're just asking Madden and throwing a bunch of different **** at the wall. Lashlee playbook was simple with not a lot of variations, when you do that players just play fast and don't have to think much.

Mario needs to get out of his own way and hire an elite OC and let him run the offensive show. His style of play has no business in our offense. He should learn from Dabo and be a CEO type that focuses on recruiting.
Dabo runs the same O that Mario wants. The issue is the playcaller itself.

Oregon has scored 40+ 8 straight game now, under Mario they did it 12 times in 4 years. He had an elite NFL QB for 2 of those years.

I knew Gattis was trash when his name 1st came up. Mario took months and the best he could do with a massive budget was Gattis.

Let’s be real about who is really to blame. He might be a good recruiter but he’s horrible at everything else
As I said in a previous statement, this team has quit on him, hiring him was a big joke as we are stuck with this POS for the next couple years. There were so many better hire options than Mario, Lane Kiffin was clearly the better choice.

what you expect Mario is playing with Manny’s 4 star recruits. Give him 3 years and we’ll just out power college football.
Really do you really believe this? Come on Man! At least under Manny they had some fight in them. Mario will be or is the worse hire this school has ever made.

Yes but when you can’t score a TD in 3 games and only throw for 62 yards vs your biggest rival, that falls more on coaches.
Agreed. It’s clear they should never had played TVD and given snaps to Garcia and Brown and had them more prepared.

Sonny Dykes and Lincoln Riley coach with superior schemes and wide open offensive game plans.

Mario corches with “culture” and the Al Golden-loser BS.

That’s why Sonny Dykes and Lincoln Riley are coaching top 10 teams, while Mario is the laughingstock of college football if not all of sports.
