What would YOU do if D’eriq King walks into your office during the winter, and says he wants to take advantage of a medical RS, return and compete, but he wants to know where YOU stand. If you rather turn the page to the youngins, then he will bow out and away from Miami gracefully. He is expected to be fully recovered and get his Chris Weinke on.

We appreciate all you’ve done for the team and the leadership you’ve shown but it’s time to give these young bucks a chance to compete. If you want a job as a grad assistant you have it anytime.

Never hurts to have a player like King on the roster. Whether he's a QB or a utility knife you need leaders in the locker room.

Agree completely about the slot. Prep a few creative designs from there. Treat him like a receiver that can throw. Lots of very unique possibilities. Sweep, toss and throw across.

Open competition (and ACTUALLY an open competition with 0 age bias) for all 4 of them (assuming jacurri sticks) and be at a mutual understanding that if he can't win QB1, the plan will be to utilize him in any fashion on offense, unless he wants to start elsewhere.
