I'd tell him that if he wants to come back, he's welcome to, but he will have to fight for that spot. It isn't guaranteed and honestly at this point, he may be behind TVD and Garcia. I would also encourage him to look at his playing options at the next level and if he decides to start the next phase of his life early, we have an analyst/GA spot open for him.
I wouldn't run him off, because as we've seen this year, you can never have too much decent QB depth. If he wanted to be a player/coach type that had a package of plays built in, then I'm all in. That said, I don't know if playing QB for Miami in the future is truly in the cards. Barring him getting back to the player I saw at Houston and last year, he would be hard pressed to beat out TVD(Who flashed potential) and Garcia. That's not even including any incoming freshmen.
