YOU are the HC (new or current) at Miami, what would YOU do?

I'd tell him that if he wants to come back, he's welcome to, but he will have to fight for that spot. It isn't guaranteed and honestly at this point, he may be behind TVD and Garcia. I would also encourage him to look at his playing options at the next level and if he decides to start the next phase of his life early, we have an analyst/GA spot open for him.

I wouldn't run him off, because as we've seen this year, you can never have too much decent QB depth. If he wanted to be a player/coach type that had a package of plays built in, then I'm all in. That said, I don't know if playing QB for Miami in the future is truly in the cards. Barring him getting back to the player I saw at Houston and last year, he would be hard pressed to beat out TVD(Who flashed potential) and Garcia. That's not even including any incoming freshmen.

I’d tell him it doesn’t matter because he’s exhausted his eligibility.

Tell him he can play WR and it's his best position if he wants to play in the NFL, coming back for a season and playing Gadget/WR will increase his chances of getting drafted
 
First thing get rid of all the bling. Second take the names off the jerseys and replace it with the word team. Crank up the discipline and bench the under achievers. No hugs and kisses no apologies no pleases . It’s smash mouth football.

Bring him back and use him like UVA uses one of their 5 QBs that all get touches on offense. But if that's the pitch, he'll bounce and go somewhere he'll start at QB..
