Yea, so.. probably time to pump the brakes a little

Ehh i was nearly ready to crown Mensah as better than Cam but yeah this O is not 2024. An elite O doesn't have 6 straight 3 and outs against a ****** WF defense. I get college football can be weird at times but we got exposed in the 2nd half. Terrible OL play, bad playcalling, no one getting open, Mensah look shook, injuries. sheesh. We need work
You forgot about the 24 offense vs Georgia Tech???

That’s hurtful. 😆
If you think that second half effort will beat ND, or Clemson, Pitt, VT **** maybe even FSU then we’ll have to agree to disagree.
I’d like nothing more than to be wrong, and maybe it’s knee-jerk, but that was fugly.
If you think FSU is a threat to us you can de activate your account right now fam 😭😭.. Wake Forest is a good scrappy ACC squad they will likely win 8-9 games this year they are way better then FSU and Clemson yall are nuts. We were dominating them 31-7 b4 injuries started taking a toll n we didn’t adjust on offense

Terrible take.

It took one playoff run to make some folks way too ****y. The score predictions were hilarious. Thinking losing Mesidor , Bain, Thomas and Scott wouldn’t be a big deal is crazy work. Not counting the OL.
Every team is losing players from the previous season it's nothing unique that only happens in Miami.

When you have a roster that costs around 50 million, that is 30 million more than your comp your not playing on the same level.

Team is up 31-7, and the team packed it up and thought it was in the bag, so those crazy predictions weren't far off for most of the game.

It's only because they got their **** pushed in by a lesser team for a qtr that people like yourself want to act as if you're smarter than others.

There are issues with the OL, no doubt. Mensah couldn't physically throw anything even intermediate which is why we or up nothing in the second half. If he was healthy he wouldn't hit Loften wide open downfield, we would have ran a normal offense & dropped almost 50. DL got home a lot. If we can get healthy I'm not worried at all.

So many doomsday mopes here & in the gameplay thread. You should have your man cards revoked

Yup team lost a ton of nfl talent, veterans and leaders.

Hard to replace especially for a program building. **** even Georgia has shown that can’t sustain those loses and they have been recruiting top class for 10 years.

Miami should win the ACC but everyone thinking it is a forgone conclusion because of what happened last year is delusional. You still have to play the games and injuries are now a big big problem.

Hopefully Fletcher, Mali, Pringle, Moten, Mensah and Lucas can all be 100% by Clemson. Not sure if Cantwell is also injured cause he got no snaps last night.

**** add loften to that list as well.
100%^^ Also, some of the perceived strengths - CBs - aren't quite as strong and that may be due to injuries. In the game and Stanford, there have been too many receivers running free in the midrange game. Aside from Toney, not really anyone else stepping up in our "stacked" WR room.

He doesn't miss that throw to Lofton, who was wide open. And he missed it short. He also nearly bounce passed a few passes. Couldn't torque
Not true. He missed him because he had to move off his spot at the last second because a defender was in his face.

Now if he is injured or not, I can’t tell you that. He seemed fine on the sidelines. There was one play where he scrambled right and I thought for sure he would get the first down and he didn’t. Did something look off with his running there?

We've only won conference road games by 2+ scores four times in a single season since we did it 2005. Richt 2016, Diaz 2020, Cristobal 2025-2026.

It's really hard to repeat that kind of thing, its even harder to do the year after you just gone and done it.

Not disagreeing with you, just trying to glass half full a game in which they were never within 1 score in the second half. We've had 32 total double digit wins from 2001 until now. Only 19 since 2005.

I don't disagree with any of that, but the injuries and the lack of finding and answer on offense when we hit a lull has me concerned.

He's made plenty of throws where he can't step into it or moved off his spot lol

I dont care how good a coach Mirabal & Jt are its extremely difficult to lose the type of talent we lost and not take a few steps back. One thing I was concerned with that nobody was talking about was that we also lost a pretty good Db coach and replaced him with someone who wasnt that experienced. I know people will say injuries but the db's didnt look as good against Stanford.
