I mean are u even watching couch when he blitzes ??? He’s the best blitzer we got he has a nack for it

This is the million dollar question. Firing Enos wasn't hard....firing friends who have been with you for a while but keep producing underperforming units is MUCH harder. At the very least Rumph needs to be brought before the altar of sacrifice. If you're a position coach you HAVE to excel EITHER at recruiting or the ability to be a technical teacher. He can't recruit for crap and couldn't even secure those elite kids he coached in high school. Add to that in regards to on-the-field-play, his DB's have zero awareness with regards to taking angles and playing the ball in the air.

He's alumni and will always be a Cane, but my hunch is he belongs at the high school level. This is a results driven business.

Something tells me even then he'd ***** it up. Remember when he first got here from high school AND COULDN'T EVEN LOCK DOWN THE STUD CORNER HE COACHED IN HIGH SCHOOL????

Rumph is just a horrible recruiter. Period, end of story.

I have to rewatch the last few games. Several posters said the same thing as you, that Couch is a good blitzed. I’m probably fixated on that last series of VT when everything was telegraphed.

Yea couch has been the most effective blitzer. I hate how we have slow developing blitzes from the 3rd level lol they never hit home
