Xavier Restrepo transfers from Sta to Deerfield.

STA needs to wake the F up... These kids need to be able to sign early and go early. Not allowing them to do so is costing these kids a lot of opportunities!!! Think about it. You got 2 kids of equal talent, but one can enroll early and have an extra 5 months to get acclimated to the school, get on a nutrition program, get on a weight program, learn the playbook and go through Spring football... Its a NO brainer. Restrepo is playing it smart, STA is not...

I dont know any Christian based HS that all allows early graduation.

Pretty sure that’s a Archdioceses decision not the school. Good luck convincing the Catholic Church to allow kids to graduate early for the sake of athletics. LOL

4-star Alex Henningham
4-star Deajaun McDougle
3-star Xavier Restrepo
4-star Bryce Gowdy

McDougle also has a younger brother who's a 9th grade WR with a couple offers.

Most private schools in S FL don't allow early graduation

ST Thomas also has had some QB issues as well, that may have played into the decision

Restrepo wasn't a STA original to begin with, he was at Monarch his Freshman year.

He played on the same squad as Rousseau when Rousseau was a Junior before he went to Champagnat.

DFB is absolutely loaded with talent, don't think we'll get any of them for the 2020 class, but if we ever plan on landing a player from there we should start with the 21/22 class.

We should've been offered CB Phillip O'Brien, LB Justice Cross, 22 RB Jaziun Patterson & 22 LB Daterius Lee.

LCE are these kids you mentioned already being offered by P5 schools?

He may get another look at Safety from our staff with them whiffing on every top Safety that commits.

Would much rather take Restrepo at S over Hanna.

Would also want him on offense, but the kid lays the wood, and is an elite athlete.

I like those types on defense, not to mention South FL is stacked with elite WRs this cycle.

Kid needs to be taken as a safety immediately but also catching the ball seems to be an issue for our wideouts so if he can catch the ball in traffic I’d say take him as a wideout lol
