UM fans need to appreciate that about the only other school that has as loyal a following from former players as UM, is ND.

The ND alumni are a lot like the UM alumni. And if their kids are good enough to play at ND, they are going to ND. The only way we are getting an ND legacy is if ND doesn’t want the player as much as we do. But if ND makes this young man a priority recruit, he is going to ND.
Exactly how I feel even if we had the jumpstart on them.

We’re recruiting two of his teammates in the same year as him so well how that all goes… however, I’ll have to see it to believe it. And i still won’t believe it lol.

It’d be one thing if he only attended school there, but it’s another when your father is the only player besides Rudy to be carried off the field lmao (according to Wikipedia).

Why dont they just say they going off what we do, most annoying lame *** team ever

I could absolutely see a scenario where the kid feels like ND got a little complacent with his recruitment thinking he was a legacy lock and he wanted them to show the same love and persistance like UM has and maybe its too little too late. Never know.

I definitely see that already

That **** usually works at first, and then when they turn up the heat late, all is forgiven. At least, that's how it goes for programs not named Miami.

1. Legacy kid is offered by other schools other than the legacy program
2. Legacy kid falls in love with several programs, talks glowingly, takes visits, progresses towards a commitment.
3. Legacy school offers
4. Prospect insinuates he's disrespected by not being offered sooner, makes lukewarm comments about legacy school, continues talking up other schools.
5. Prospect takes an unofficial to several schools, including now the legacy school
6. Prospect says legacy school "made up some ground" and "communication is more frequent", but is adamant he's very interested in other schools.
7. Prospect quietly schedules OV to legacy school
8. Prospect commits to legacy school

There's your playbook.

Listen man - South Bend is not for everyone. If he’s a Florida boy and enjoys a bigger city like Miami, the culture and females in Miami - sees he can play high profile games and create a bigger brand here in Miami - he may choose his own path.

Key in that decision- will be if his Father has trust in Mario, and I think Mario is the type of man most Dads would feel confident to hand their son to for 3-4 years.

Rich and well paid in Miami or South Bend…? For me, its a no brainer. There is no better city in Western Hemisphere to have money and status

This could absolutely happen as well. He’s a 2028 kid. Long way to go and hope he takes his time. There is no rush.

While I may agree with most of what you said, by that same argument, Miami is also not for everyone.

It's gotta happen to another team and not just us eventually......right?
