X. Restrepo ( Not hurt)

Who would've thought Braxton Berrios would be in the NFL, now in this 8th year and X is a better weapon. X will be in the League regardless, he is too valuable. I think Cam being in his court will be a factor with the Titans as X will be his go to guy. Think the person who broke the Hurricane receiving record won't be valued....we should be worried about our Hurricanes and hope Reuben Bain lives up to the hype. I see him as a major disappointment, his 2 minute highlight reel doesn't show much. Check out a Warren Sapp or Daniel Stubbs highlight and compare it to what Bain is doing....nada!

Restrepo making the initial 53 may come down to ST impact or just them keeping 7 WRs on the roster, which would be unusual. I mean teams rarely keep 7 on the roster, and almost never do for the full season. I wouldn't be shocked if they did just entering the season with 7 with expectations with injuries it'll sort itself out or with just the hopes that eventually the rookie earn the jobs and the vets can be cut...

Obviously Titans are keeping Ridley, Ayomanor, and **** on the 53. I think Ideally they'd want Ridley and Ayomanor as the two outside guys.

That leaves Lockett, Van Jefferson, Restrepo, and Bryce Oliver really as the main competition for the final 3 spots. Think camp reports are that Van Jefferson looks firmly ahead of Ayomanor and **** for the other outside WR job opposite Ridley right now. I think ideally what the Titans would have liked is for Ayomanor and **** to have beaten out Jefferson, and then cut Jefferson. But as of now that isn't the case. And given Restrepo is exclusively a slot guy, that doesn't help his odds of making the roster... And given Lockett was signed post draft and for $4M (vs Jeffersons $1.6M) almost fully guaranteed, it'd be pretty surprising for him not to make the roster, especially given it seems the idea was to give Cam a vet trustworthy slot guy. So It seems very likely as of now that both Lockett and Van Jefferson will make the roster.

Which means its down to Restrepo and Bryce Oliver for the 6th spot. And most signs indicate that Oliver is their "ST ace" out of the WRs. The Titans view him similar to Westbrook-Ikhine from last season.
I think it will come down to how X shows up in the preseason games. X is a "gamer".

Oh boy.

Fraggle, out of respect for my elders……

X and Berrios are two different players. One is savvy and toughness the other is a freak athlete.

Their NFL potential is different.

Berrios was much better. Could you image him in Dawson offense with Cam throwing to him. lol Berrios had Rosier.

I like X better then Berrios yet Berrios was actually drafted. The comparison is both were safety valves and third down receivers. Berrios advantage was punt returns...I like X talent more, like a Howard Twilley one of my favortie Fins.

Berrios played three seasons with his roommate/UM all time passing leader Brad Kaaya. He’s in the league because he returns kicks. There’s nothing he does as a receiver better than Restrepo.

Did you watch him throw a dime that should've been a TD that was straight dropped? That slot shot in his last throw was a good throw too.

This is why this superficial looking at stat lines is irrelevant if you don’t understand what’s going on, especially in a preseason game
