All kidding aside, I'm not any more worried than I was before. AG will either get him back in this class or replace him. At worst, hello waiver wire.

Don't blame the coaching staff look no further than the top, starting with D.S. She put these rules in academics and the administration is carrying out her orders! This was done to keep certain types of kids off campus and Randy and Al have spent years recruiting kids that can't get into Miami anymore. Butch built the team back up off Juco kids, he was able to get them in. If someone could look up how many juco transfers and kids that missed getting in by one or two classes or 20 to 40 points that we have missed on since 2002 the number has to be 40 kids or better! Those kids are the difference makers! Until changes are made at the top we are road kill for now on.

Lol, this isn't surpising. All I know is that this so called coaching staff has less than a week to get 4-5 quality DTs on this roster. Do your ******* job or please go away.
 
Massive Fail by Golden as is the case with all of his DT recruiting.

He should have done his HW on this. We should have had this resolved early or not waster our time with Wyche.

That's all well and good, but this was an ACC rule, not UM specific.

What difference would that have made? We shouldnt have recruited Wyche then? We needed JUCO bodies. Stuckey fell through because of grades. Cory Johnson didnt want to take an online class. Wyche would have been jacked up either way by this ACC rule, it wasnt like we stopped recruiting people. They got Huertelou AFTER Wyche was already committed. McDowell was also being recruited and sent his paper work in, but could not qualify. It wasnt like they didnt recruit a lot of JUCOs. Apart from being sh8tty luck, as far as JUCO recruiting, there isnt much more they could have done.

We dont know the whole story. This could be a negative, or a positive, as some have posted. In any case, my recollection is that Wyche had a lot of potential, but wasnt ready to be a starter yet.
