WR Trevill Holcy

Very underwhelming to me.

We could've waited on this one.

Going up against small geeks in most of his tape, plods around the field, very slow. I don't see why we'd take him this early on.

Typical... This offer is to early and will **** about offers being to late? Mope

We laugh at offers for clear cut studs coming late.

We scratch our heads at taking questionable kids like this early.

You choke on dlcks and continue being an insufferable ****** who wears Golden's ******* as goggles.

Man, you are just a world class prick.

**** yeah. More questionable offers to plodding, marginally athletic players from outside of South Florida!

Upward baby.

So this kid is no good obviously to the top NCAA recruiting scouts on the Caneinsight message board? The same guys who hated Demetrius Jackson, the same who wasn't in on taking Brad Kaaya at first, the same ones who mostly cant name 1 game fully that they have seen of these kids before their Senior year but know how they'll end up 4-5 years from now?

Travis Rudolph was unranked. So many better CB's is what everyone said. He became a 5* WR and yup! everyone was sad :( .
Collins first offer when there were so many "better backs". He leaves us as a top 10 back NATIONALLY and a 5* and its "tragic". lol

Exactly, so many "experts' praise kids who blow up every year but we got some couch scouts here who're writing kids off already and the **** is old but we'll see what they turn out to be........ you know when they become seniors in HS

Who said this?

Lol love how people say this guy is no good or we took him too early....

Guarantee people wouldn't be saying this if he had an offer from fsu uf bama etc....

But he doesn't so what the **** does that matter?

Why does that determine how good a player is? Kaaya didnt have **** except UM until November? Did that mean he sucked?

I'm not complaining about the take because of his lack of offers. I'm complaining because his "highlights" were extremely underwhelming.

I didn't speak negatively about the Spence take even though his best offer other than us is Auburn. And I actually like the Leeward Brown take. I don't base my opinion on offers.

My bad, heres the thing though this a March take which really means nothing in recruiting as you should know because you're a good poster bruh. He can be dropped at anytime if they want to move on, from what I read its not even committable right now, we'll see throughout the summer if he's improving and this time last year like I posted before there were sooooooooooooo many studs that nobody here even know their names so that tells you everything. Basically all im asking is just to at least hold out before thinking a certain kid is/will be a certain player when we dont know that's all

But he doesn't. I can't blame people for being more impressed if he has offer(s) from elite programs.

I don't know all the details, but Mike Williams was from Tampa and I don't think he had WR offers from any of the Florida Big 3. I think maybe FSU wanted him for TE, but I'm not sure. So, some guys slip through.

Now the story comes out that this kid didn't really have an offer. He must have misunderstood whatever he was told. He'd better get his grades up anyway.

Somebody said this kid is Gator territory. I'm not sure about that. As I remember, St. Cloud and Kissimmee are south of Orlando. We've often done very well in Orlando and surrounding areas, and to the east, in Brevard. So many kids have come to UM from central Florida: Kennard Lang, his teammate that OL (whose name I can't remember), Warren Sapp (Apopka, really Plymouth), Joe Kohlbrand (Merritt Island), Darryl Spencer (MI), Hurlie (MI), Bubba McDowell (MI), Horace Copeland (Orlando Evans I think), Ramon Buchanan (Palm Bay, I think), Matt Walters (Melbourne), etc. I don't remember anybody in particular from St. Cloud-Kissimmee, but it's within the State of Miami that we've been recruiting for over thirty years.

golden is a clown...

Maybe, maybe not, but nothing to do with this situation. Golden has only spoken to this kid briefly once or twice. Hurlie is his point of contact. But if it makes you feel better to cry about Golden, I won't stop you.

I don't understand the take at this point.

they must see something they like with him....as kid had an offer from signing day or maybe even before that. Add to it his stats arent good, so they must see something with his size and frame.
The thing is i can see what their loking for, but i felt like we received "this guy" in a better packaged form last yr with Njoku and Herndon. Those two are wayyy more fluid than him. I dont like Archibald @ te at all really.

He's a kid i would of offered "after the spring eval", and first few games of season to see progress imo.

We better add some speed to the wr core imo.....i'm in fully on Devante Peete, John Burt, Davante Phillips, Calvin Ridley at wr. And i know were behind the 8 ball on two of them already (Burt,Phillips) and one has severe grade issues.
I know we have put a prerequisite on size under Big G, but i dont want to become too plodding at the skills.

For some reason, I think Golden looked at what Streeter did for us that one year and what Kelvin Benjamin did to us over the last two years and has become obsessed with finding a 6'5-6'6 monster WR of his own. I also think that this is a little fear factor in him as well. Peete might be on board but Phillips and Ridley are big question marks.

****, I gotta trust the guy until he proves otherwise. When it comes to offering guys early, Al doesnt miss many evals. Would I have waited? Yeah but then again as many have said on here, no bat signal has gone out yet so maybe this kid jumped the gun and didnt know his offer wasnt commitable.

Nash Williams ‏@NashSports 6m

St. Cloud WR Trevill Holcy told me he plans to talk to Al Golden today to confirm his commitment to Miami. So there's that.
