Lol..not all the receivers those coaches recruited were high profile. Marcus Wimberly, Khalil Jones, Pee Wee Smith, Andre Brown..can't say these guys tapes were similar, but seems you have selective memories of the Irvin, Blades, Carroll, Johnson types. There were productive non-ultra-high profile types too - like Dale Dawkins, Jonathan Harris, Kevin Beard...

Btw, this kid reminds me a bit of the receiver we lost in the portal to UGA. Not as tall, but good frame and really competes when the ball's in the air. May not be stopwatch fast, but they weren't catching him in the open field. Looked 'football fast' to me.

100% correct. This guy "taaliyah" is completely full of ****.

And I'd even set aside "high-profile", because that dip**** is trying to compare "game tape". So I assume he doesn't think Wingo is fast enough, because we sure as **** don't still have VCR tapes on the guys that JJ and Butch recruited to UM.

Our coaches have recruited plenty of guys who are not track-stars and/or have the height that make them look "slower" on tape.

I'm not getting the grumpa$$es on this one. 4 star kid with very productive numbers, height, speed.. kind of kid in recent years everyone would be doing the Randy Marsh computer room scene over. Yea his name isn't Keys but that doesn't man he isn't a take.

I 100% would have made some dbag comments about Beard

Whatever your opinion of the kid we spent a lot of time and resources on him and we ultimately made it happen. It’s a great recruiting win even if you remove how you feel

I wasn’t a fan of Russell or Lopez but I would have still given us big credit for the W had we gotten it done

Which is cool. Point I was getting at was remove the personal stuff and just look at the fact that we obviously wanted him in the class and spent a lot of resources on him. So it’s a big L even if I am not a fan of his game. Ultimately who gives a **** what I think just people should separate the two things

You should of read the tea leaves when the school is the university of Miami and majority of the board are jaded or hate when we recruit SOUTH FLORIDA Players.



This kid was one of the first wr we targeted int he cycle since LAST YEAR. Kevin Beard went up to st aug when he didnt have to that early to go see this kid.



This is a HUGE PICK UP. And i see ppl ho hum about it or some flat out dissing it...this is hilarious to me.

Loved KJ. **** good player, great young man. The kind of player you build a room around because he is a born leader, and backs it up on the field. Outside of X, who we know was made fun of for being a grinder, can't remember the last time there was a WR on the roster that everyone respected because he was the guy, the unquestioned leader of the room.

There's nothing wrong with Beard picking up guys that should be valuable to the program going forward. Is he the second coming of Andre Johnson? Likely not, but I wouldn't be shocked if he's the next Zay Horton, hopefully without the constant transfer threats. You can't teach size and you can't teach reliability.
