**** no! Daniel’s has better hands but no separation. They are very similar though. Daniels was injured but he has disappeared for quite a few games. Thought he was going to have 1k yards here.

The Daniels separation thing confuses me bc early in the season, i watched him run some really good routes, crisp. I almost commented on it here because i hadn't been impressed with our route running for years....something that i've struggled to understand if it's a route concept thing or coaching thing. I've been a bit hard on some of Dawson's route tree concepts at times, so without the All-22 tape it's tough for me to pinpoint where i stand on that topic.

I feel you. But some guys create separation even if they tell you what they will run. Marion and Mali get open so idk.

Classic CIS take right here and nice to know they are still in full force even after making it to the ship. Daniel’s has more TD’s in half the games than Horton did last year. Do a little homework before you make such a ridiculous post.

Ridiculous post huh? More TD’s in HALF the games?! That’s an awful stat you fabricated!

Horton 2024- 12 games as 5th option -
56 catches - 616 yards - 5 TDs

Daniels 2025- 11 games played (not half as you stated) - 2nd option.
47 catches - 495 yards - 7 TDs

Very similar stats (just like I said)! But Horton obviously had more yard per catch while Daniels had 2 more TDs. But as I stated previously, Daniels is the SECOND receiving option while Horton was the 5th guy! Daniels disappears in games, that’s a problem! People are double teaming Mali and this guy should be feasting. Has 1v1 OFTEN and gets pressed.. No one respects his speed.. he doesn’t get open enough IMO. You CANNOT press Horton and leave your corner on an Island with him! You have to have a safety up top. Horton had better stats this year than Daniels. More yards and TDs as Bama’s 3rd option.

He did play more games then I thought. But even in some of those games, like against Pitt, he barely played.

Horton was a starter. How do you figure he was a 5th option? Ward went with the hot hand. Most of the time that was Restrepo. But many times it was Horton. He got his fare share of opportunities, including a drop that killed the season against Cuse.

Daniels is a leader in the room. He blocks as well as anyone. He has had huge moments. ND catch, tunnel screen against ATM, and the TD before the half against Stanford when the offense laid an egg for an entire half, and the huge 3rd down catch against Ole Miss on last drive. What elite moments do you remember from Horton? The only elite moment I remember is the one he botched. In short, we won that trade. Bama is at home. Miami is in the ship.

Lmao Miami is not in the ship because of anything that buddy did that Horton didn’t/couldn’t do. Horton had plenty of big time third down catches when x was doubled. For a few games he kept us alive. But he was the 5th option most games after X, JG, Orroyo and that other cat that kept dropping passes! I’m not comparing bama to Miami.. just comparing individual stats. Oh BTW, Horton played hurt a few games last year too. You made it seem like Daniels was playing Michael Crabtree out there or something 😂

lol you just joined the OSU mythological win team. Good job. Fact of the matter is I just named several plays that got Miami to the ship. And I named one play that Horton didn’t make that lost us the playoffs. You lose bro.
