WR Isaiah Horton signs papers to enter Portal

I understand the mentality of not taking someone back and would have no issue if Mario took that stance, but can also see the benefit of having someone who left for supposedly greener passages coming back to the team and saying 'hey guys, take it from me I was wrong. Don't do what I did'. Obviously a lot of that would be dependent on how things were handled when he left.

pretty sure Horton was one of the Georgia idiots who was straight up mocking UM during the season.

NO WAY IS THAT GUY COMING BACK!

As others have noted, that was Josh Horton.

As far as I know, Isaiah has not said anything negative about Miami publicly. I have no idea how it went when he left... maybe it was amicable or maybe he burned all the bridges on the way out. It's up to Mario if he wants him back and even if it was amicable, I can understand Mario saying 'no thanks'.

This is - of course - if Isaiah even wants to come back to Miami. I don't know if there has been anything suggesting he does other than fans debating it.

Sorry, but I really like Horton. Supposedly when he was here he was a bit of a SEC homer. Now that he has scratched that SEC itch he needs to do what’s best for him to get to the NFL - and it’s not being a part of a Deboer offense, especially with Russell at QB. Russell isn’t going to sit in the pocket long enough for Horton to run his route. It’s time for him to move on and he’s a take for me if the price is right
He's good, but not good enough to leave his team and teammates to go to a "better" Alabama team and then think he's still got a place on this team after he realizes he was wrong. He's a dime-a-dozen, solid but not spectacular WR. He made his choice, he can deal with it while he watches the teammates he abandoned go to the Championship game.

Make a public statement wishing you never left, and that you are grateful for another opportunity - and be on Greentree Monday morning 🤣
The only way he should be allowed back is if Simpson says he'll only transfer here if Horton does as well AND he accepts a low NIL

Dangerous precedent to set. The kind you would only risk for a talent like Jeremiah Smith…

GL at Colorado st 😂

Horton should never come back to Miami in any capacity ever!
I agree. But how many people had these same feelings after Mario spurned Golden for Saban? Kid made a ****** decision. Hate that he spent all that time building his talent up to chase a ring and ended up worse than when he was here. Mario needs to use this as an example to future guys wanting to bolt for the brighter lights.
