WR Coach Ron Dugans

Dugans' path seems similar to lawrence dawsey. Dawsey was fsu's wr coach for a couple years, before adding co oc. Can't imagine Dugans being offered co oc for us

Serious question ... If Ron Dugans is the hire, what's the delay?

We have to be paying more than USF ... And if he's getting a co-OC title, this should be a done deal.

Hopefully the delay is bc its not him.. I dont see anything with Dugans that merits that kind of promotion.. With this coach being Co-OC id love to see us grab Napier... there's a connection and he'd be the best hire.. Richt needs another big timer to close it out..

Not gonna lie..... I took an L that night......I shouldve read the book of war and bombed first....Dude lifted me up and slammed me after a lot of back and forth....Then I just held him in a head lock on the ground as the melee between his camp and my camp ensued... he got me on a couple of rib shots too... Ribs were sore as **** for about a week..Still here about it from my brother to this day... can never live it down

Yeah I remember that... Dougans was charged with child abuse after that fight.. It went something like this right?

Seems like a solid hire. MY only question is why Charlie Strong didn't take him to Texas.

I looked it up and it seems like Charlie Strong hired a veteran guy with Texas and SEC connections to be his WR coach. He may have felt that he needed somebody like that and that Dugans was too connected to Florida.
 
Looking around & found he is supposedly their ace recruiter (responsible for SFL) Their WR's thrived this year & broke school records under his tutelage. We shall see..........
