Colts fan here. No announcement on Wayne’s status.

Steichen will call the plays and has requested interviews with Tee Martin and Jim Bob Cooter for OC.

Only hire so far has been former Giants RB coach DeAndre Smith.

Some rumors that he had an altercation at Oregon and that's what lead to his dismissal - very untimely after 1 or 2 practices in spring if there wasn't a reason like that.

With Mario's track record and negative recruiting of the WR position it needs to be a grand slam no doubt hire.

Also think hiring an air raid guy will help with wr recruiting but your point stands.

Tee Martin as OC? The same guy many here believed would be an atrocious hire. Think I agree Martin wouldn’t have been a good choice but maybe we need to recalibrate a little.

He’d be like 4th or 5th name that wasn’t “good enough” to be here but an NFL HC thought differently.

He was fired from USC because he wasn’t good as an OC.

Just because someone gets hired in the NFL doesn’t mean they’re going to be good as a College OC.
