WR Coach Candidates

Cortez Hankton was at Vanderbilt and Dartmouth for 5 years before Georgia and LSU

Dell McGee was a high school coach and RB coach at Georgia Southern for years before Georgia

Lonnie Galloway was a Coach at Elon university for 7 years. He didn't get a P5 WR job for almost 15 years.

Sometimes that's just how it is. Coaches don't get the opportunities they deserve.
You’re a great poster bro dont let nobody tell u different lol

I didn’t post Beard’s time at Toledo; it’s his all time recruits, which would’ve taken in consideration his time at Miami & Tennessee as WR coach, just a FYI.

Furthermore, Scott’s best yr was his sophomore in 2012. He didn’t play in 2011, barely played in 2013 (injured), 2014 (injured), so what r u talking about?

Curious, all those ****ed off about Beard. After Hankerson said no ty, Colts rehire Wayne, Galloway probably a pipe dream, Keith Williams slurred speech in his call, who else out there??

5-star receivers want more than a personable position coach. You need a resume to back up your recruiting pitch. Hartline’s resume, regardless of how much we like KB, ***** on his.
Agreed… but look at where Hartline has coached.,Now look at Beard. Where has he coached? Success wins in the living room of 5 star kids and parents. Fucc errythang else. That’s easy low hanging fruit. There’s literally nobody out there that’s AVAILABLE, that can beat Hartline head to head, in the living room…. as long as he rocking that red shirt with the silver block O. Winning matters.

both staffs canned in each his 2 years recruiting UM and Tenn? Golden was...and then goofy Butch Jones was . He can't be part of a kid signing if he's let go.

I posted it before. I would have gone with Shorts at Houston as he and Dawson worked together and had a lot of success last season and he knows what Dawson wants. Get someone who knows the system and can fit in with the OC.

He never finished recruiting at Miami or Tennessee because the HC got fired. If he stayed he would of got credit for Richards, Bruce and Mullins

Scott was actually pretty productive for UM before the injuries. Beard helped him a lot the season he was finally healthy. Also thats kind of the point, a lot of these WRs took the next step with beard and had the best season of their college careers
Maybe they took another step because Brad Kaaya was no longer a freshman and they were older players themselves. Perhaps their increase in production also had something to do with Duke Johson, Phillip Dorsett and Clive Walford all going to the NFL. No more bellcow back and more targets to go around.

Agree 100% but mario interviewed him so he’s the better judge if beard is worthy or not
We're not still just giving him the benefit of the doubt are we? He lost all that with the failure of the 2022 staff. Also we were told Mario really wanted a Miami guy for this position. That's a **** way to approach a process no matter who the potential hire is.

Except he already got his opportunity at Miami and Tennessee and ended up at Toledo. Those staffs got fired but in neither instance did incoming coaches think he was worthy of being retained. And until this Miami bro opportunity apparently no other P5 school thought he deserved an opportunity either.
