WOW

Now listen, Blake may wind up sucking and believe all those things. I don't know.

but every AD woud basically say the same thing even if they were thinking of forcing a coaches hand on staff or firing the HC. They rarely would come out publicly and undermine the coach before a decision has been made or more of the season has played out. And even if an ad forced the HC to make a staff change, they would never say anything other than the HC decided to make a change and he supports it.

now I don't know what Blake will prove to be or do, but anyone drawing conclusions from the above "AD SPEAK"'doesn't get it.

I'm on the side that believes that we are better served to cut ties with Golden, but I just didn't see a "wow" in that article. When he mentioned not forcing the guy to fire the DC, I actually agree with him. You don't force your head coach to fire a ****** DC, you fire your HCinstead because obviously he's a fool if he won't fire his ****** DC.

BJ's Actions Taken and Results from actions are what you are judged. Not any Fake *** interview ...

His actions or lack thereof at the end of this season will be telling.

Golden towards Dnofrio... REGARDLESS of the rest of the season will be also.

The Temple 3 (Jethro- Marky D - P. Willy)... need to be out - done - not even as the **** parking lot attendants..Even if we **** around and win the coastal... no matter what - THEY NEED TO BE OUT...

I can Take or Leave Golden .... his job is just to gather the talent.. out side of DT... this team is talented to win. Even with all the misses...

I still don't see how Folden can pitch to anyone that firing the DC is suddenly the answer to all of our woes after he staunchly supported him following the two worst defensive seasons in the history of UM football.

So now that the defense has improved Folden suddenly thinks all of our failure is tied to the guy he called the best in the business after two historically bad defensive seasons? Who would even but that plan for a second other than some of the brain dead louts on here?

CHATTER

When I asked if he could envision a scenario in which he would tell a coach to make a change on his staff, James said: “My philosophy is you hire head coaches to run their programs and my job is to give them the support they need to be successful.”

I agree with this philosophy - it's not his job to run the football team. With that being said, however, if the coach shows an unwillingness (or inability) to make the necessary changes then it's obvious that it's time for a coaching change.

What is his job? It seems that he is just a tremendous retarded ****.

I'm not sure what you all were expecting the guy to say in a public interview. "Well, that guy is about to be fired, can't wait". Things will take care of themselves, the pressure will cause turmoil among coaches, staff, players, etc. Something will happen, it's probably not going to be what most of you (us) want (Golden fired) but there is just too much going on for there to be no changes in the staff at the end of the season.

Spot on. No professional will admonish their subordinates in public mid stream. Things will take care of themselves. If no changes are made I would be SHOCKED considering my last post and what I know to be happening.

If no changes are made, it is a free for all at that time and all criticism is more than deserved.

I fixed it for you.

His job is to manage the entire athletic department, not micromanage the football coach.

In theory that is what he would do (if he actually did it) if all sports were equal. Considering football generates the majority of the revenues perhaps he should focus on it. Considering the product has been terrible for 10+ years he should attempt to fix it. This would include micromanaging if necessary.

The bigger issue is ******** is a retarded ****.

there's no way we are going to be successful in the future with this defensive scheme, staff and mentality. That said, I like the players we have, and the ones we're recruiting.

Haha. I agree that he's doing a terrible job. The real answer is that we need an entire regime change starting with shalalalalalalalala all the way down the line.

wouldnt make a difference if they fire mark now or later. its going to happen.

AD's should never get involved with hiring/firings of coordinators.

I now hate blake more than al, for this jackass to sit there and act like Als doing a good job he deserves to have his *** thoroughly kicked.

Lol he's not gonna trash his coaches in public. If u guys were expecting that, then there is wwe raw on Monday's where u can get ur soap opera fill there. What he says to us and what he says inside Hecht are two different things

People do realize that no coach would ever want to coach at Miami if its administration was going around the HC and making staff decisions, right?

Nothing wrong with what Blake James said in that interview. You hire a coach that can make the right decisions. If you have to micro manage someone then you didn't hire the right person. I truly think Golden knows it is in his best interest to cut ties with D'Nofrio at the end of the season. Even if he thinks this scheme can work it hasn't for 4 years. It's time to make a change. If he doesn't then that is when Blake can intervene and question Golden. This is when the ball will really start rolling on Goldens job. If he an Blake are at a disagreement then it will be over for Golden. Blake is backing him publicly now bc he believes Golden will make he right decision after the season. If that doesn't happen..Golden won't have much time next year.
