It was late June/early July, many teams have had a slew of commits. Now that summer rush isn’t over yet but this is what happens this time of year on the NIL era. We have a nice class but 1) it’s not amazing and not what we were sold on and 2) which is way more important is that we have multiple needs roster wise that have not been addressed yet.

Sure, but that’s neither here nor there as it pertains to the last couple of weeks. People have forgotten about week full of commitments for the reasons I laid out. The excitement was about us turning up and establishing a top 5 class or better. Instead our excitement was muted when we whiffed left and right.

Sorry to add that little factual detail to your story, but we have been hearing it's months away from the finish line for multiple seasons and portal classes and we still haven't stacked classes or created a balanced roster... :cool:

We are in full blown peacock the W's and make excuses for the L's season... Crootin!!!

Well as it stands we aren’t looking at a top 5 class unless we take 10 more high level players. If we close on our 5 highest targets we will land in the 5 to 10 range. Which is exactly where we will be every season until we stop losing to Iowa State in the pop tarts bowl.

We ain’t getting the 5 star guys we want at a price that’s reasonable until we show up in the playoffs and look like we belong with the OSU and UGAs of the world.

I fully believe that Clemson is reaping the benefits of their success last season after coming back from the dead following their loss to UL. Nevermind the fact they still aren’t blowing us away in recruiting even with an ACC title and solid showing against Texas. Had they missed the acc title game and playoffs I bet some of their crooting wins would be swinging the other way.
