Would Harbaugh seriously consider the Rams?

I think if this conversation was 2 years from now and he had beaten OSU, won the conference and played in the Playoff, then yes. But only 2 years in with so much yet to be done......no. He hasn't gotten bored yet. His shtick hasn't turned people off yet. His ego has a lot left to do in Michigan before he bolts.

Why would he leave his dream job, for a greasefire NFL gig? He has nothing to prove at that level, he's proven that he can coach in the NFL. The money at Michigan is legit, he can stay there 20+ years like his hero Bo did, and he only has Urban Meyer to worry about in that conference.

that aint his dream job, he just went there because the nfl job openings were **** after the 49ers let him go. a guy with an ego like his is gonna want back in the league especially how close he was to winning a super bowl, just waiting for the right opportunity. if the colts job were to open up that would be the one to watch for because they have a QB.

Funny how you don't hear Sumlin's name rumored for these openings any longer. My guess is they go after David Shaw when Gruden tells them he makes the same amount of money for 1/50th the amount of work.

You realize that he's a Michigan alum, and he idolizes Bo Schembechler, right? Harbaugh realizes that coaching in the NFL is a short term job, unless you are Bill Belichick. For the money, and whatnot, it isn't worth it, when you are coaching at a place like Michigan.

A guy with an ego like his enjoys walking on water in college. Highly doubt he goes back to the NFL in the next 5 years where he'll have to deal with "management".

yes, i know that but harbaugh doesnt strike me as a college guy though, he's in the mold of jimmy johson and wants to win on the highest level. I believe a guy with his ego is gonna get tired of begging 17 year olds to come play for him and will pull the trigger if an ideal situation comes open for him i.e. a team with a top level QB

there are plenty of pro teams that would jump at the chance to sign harbaugh, not every front office is as dumb as the 49ers, they were the exception not the rule

Our fans are worried about Harbaugh, Strong, Kiffin, Butch recruiting here but still won't give the guy that's been killing us for years any credit.

Hilarious.

as a lifelong Rams fan I would love it, he ain't gonna leave Michigan yet. And to the guy that said Saban, don't want that psycho in LA!

I really hope so with the man trying to find ways to camp out in our back yard.

I'd guess that ego will bring him back to the league at some point, but it'd be a stupid move. He's a crazy all control freak which is fine in college, but NFL players don't go for that ****. If he'd won the super bowl maybe he could have pulled it off, but as soon as the shine wears off NFL players remember that they're grown *** men and don't need to take this guy's ****. Plus who the ****'s paying him nearly that much?

The days where the goal was to reach the NFL for coaches is over. Harbaugh, Urban liar, and Satan are all gods in those cities and to those schools. Not to mention they get paid great and do whatever they want.
