He has not taken another job because he is sitting on a 10.5 million buyout waiting for the Miami job to open up. He will be offered the job and will take it.

There were strong rumors last year that Chud was the guy if Golden was fired.

I don't think you understand how bad Memphis was when Fuente took over. How bad they were under Larry Porter and the last year under Tommy West. Porter was an absolute disaster, and left Fuente NOTHING to work with, and 2 years he got them to 10-3, and that's with them making a step up in competition, going from C-USA to the AAC.
 
AAC is the best Group of 5 conference by far and Memphis is the biggest have-not in that conference. Yet in 3 years Fuente won that conference. Miracle work he did at Memphis.

Dudes don't want to hear it because they get locked in on "their guy" but Fuente is a monster.
