And where are all these schools going?
IF they actually do vote to dissolve the ACC ... smartest move ... then

FSU + Miami = Big 10
UNC + Clemson = SEC
Pitt, Louisville, Va Tech, NC State = Big 12

Others ... regional conferences unless the B10 wants to grab Ga Tech and Duke for academics and the SEC takes UVA for geographic reasons.
Worst Case .... the GOR is ruled to be in force ONLY THROUGH 2027 ... and the option to extend the media rights .. since never approved by members ... is ruled void. THAT WAY

-Programs with a confirmed home (FSU + Miami + UNC + Clemson) leave the ACC
-Those remaining DO SO WITH THE OPTION TO SEEK A NEW MEDIA DEAL for 2028 and on.

The Big 12 needs to add some major brands to remain viable long term (and get teams into the CFP).

Miami has a lot to offer the other potential conferences:

• Major media market (South FL). Miami alone is around the 12th largest TV market in the U.S. (add in Ft Lauderdale & other surrounding cities & towns and it’s Top 10)

• Powerful brand that draws eyeballs (Miami has been part of many of the most highly rated CFB telecasts of all time)

• Significant exposure for Miami’s opponents in some of the most fertile recruiting areas in the country

• Rich tradition of success at the highest level in CFB. Also has become a force in Basketball (no other program made to it to the Elite 8 and Final Four the last two yrs)

• Quality academics

• Many other factors

Says the guy they makes **** up but has nothing to back it up.
Read the 800 page thread on REALIGNMENT. Just because you are ill informed doesn't mean the rest of us are. FSU / UM all day long to the B10.

Might as well shut the program down if you go to the Big 12. If you aren’t in the BIG or SEC then you will be left behind. Period.

My only question in this is would the Big10 take FSU???... If I'm right all Big10 schools are AAU schools with Nebraska being the lone exception... Although when they initially joined they were an AAU school... Also from what I've read they're expected to receive AAU status again soon ( How true that is I can't say, only read stuff)....
Miami is a more than likely choice with Possibly GT or NC to go with them (Pitt and Virginia also have status).... Again I'm only basing this on the AAU status and what that means to the BIG10...
