Word is that the new commit is a DB from Cardinal Newman

Bakas had a pretty glowing write up about this kid FWIW.

Feels he will be one of the best WR prospects in the state next year.

kid really looks the part of a legit WR prospect. he looks much better after one offseason, which is to be expected since he's only gonna be a jr this year.

pretty confident that this staff knows wtf they are doing in the recruiting department.

JHall what did Bakas say were some of Rudolph's strengths?

He is already 6-1, so 6-2 190lbs as a freshman isn't a stretch. His production is outstanding for a young guy. He is also a track standout so he has great athleticism and is a deep threat.

He just needs to bulk up a little bit and work on the small things, blocking, working the middle etc.

6/15 Recruiting Roundup

by Bryan Fischer, College Football Recruiting Blogger

Clemson landed Robert Nkemdiche because it was a family atmosphere. Derrick Henry chatted about his decommitment from Georgia. Florida State is the early leader for 2015 linebacker Riley Nicholson. Athlete Travis Rudolph committed to Miami. A few notes from Florida's first camp. Commit number eight for Arkansas is athlete Jervenski Johnson. Recruits are excited about the new Razorbacks uniforms. A Georgia Tech decommit is still considering the school. Vanderbilt picked up a commitment from wideout Carlos Burse.

Looks like a good prospect. Got chased down a few times in this highlights...not overly explosive or quick. Good hands...runs tough and tracks the football well.

I think Charles perry (2015) commit will blow up the same way Rudolph did. Always good to look back on situations on hindsight. Film > Stars/Offer sheet. Staff did a great job of jumping on Rudolph early
