Wonder if the idiots who threw bottles are proud

It was disgusting to see and as usual sheds a bad light on our already bad reputation. There is NEVER an excuse for this yet some think it cool. Grow up.

LOL....you're delusional.

It's not like we shot another fan like Bama or knocked out another fan like Miss St...we threw debris on to the field out of frustration. It wasn't the targeting call....that was the straw that broke the camels back. It was the culmination of bad calls in the second half. The blatant blown holding call that was missed on Corn. The bogus holding penalty that was far away from the play and was not even a hold (per Fowler and Herbstreit), AND then the targeting call, where replay angle after replay angle clearly showed the receiver was hit w/ a shoulder on to the shoulder to separate him from the ball which was a great football play....text book, actually, and they still called it targeting.

These were CRUCIAL plays that determined the outcome of the game. **** yeah debris was thrown on the field and thank goodness b/c it showed our fan base still having a true love for the U. To see tears in their eyes and to hear the frustration showed their passion for the U. FOH w/ your holy than thou post.

between the guys crying about our fans throwing bottles and the guys crying over a 1 point loss, declaring the season over, our QB a bust, and our coach a failure...

easily the softest fanbase in the country

While I don't condone it, I understand it looks bad in a vacuum but with context it's understandable. I wouldn't put it past ANY crowd in cfb to trash the field after multiple game changing BS calls against their team in the 2nd half during a rivalry game. That targeting call could have effectively ended the game.

A part of me was honestly hoping that it got so bad that the game was called off right there. ACC refs consistently **** teams over and the country needs to know that.

People are getting terribly frustrated at the continuing struggles of this team that NO ONE seems able to correct. In addition, the pathetic officiating in this dog Chit conference that always seems to ***** us over doesn't help much, either. Throwing bottles and other stuff is dangerous and immature, but I think Miami fans are just DONE with all the problems around this football program.

It's a FKN Sorority filled with Chicks on their period on this site.

I absolutely loved it. It was a horrific call and the crowd let the refs know they botched it. Dont have a problem with it.

Its amazing how many classless people we have here. Maybe if a few lost their privleges to ever enter the stadium again they would think differently. Anyone who threw a bottle is a lowlife because it isn't human. Thank God I have been able to go to many away games to see how respectful fans are win or lose. The only fans I have ever seen act like this at a game were gators so go be a gator fan.

This is exactly what I am talking about. Some here want to desperately be fans for another program. Some should just go root for Princeton already. I heard they clap real hard at times though so that may be a bit too rough.

Maybe sitting with the Saturday morning soccer Moms. I heard they are pretty mild.

Holier than thou my butt. Respectful of other fans and humans I am and anyone who threw a bottle is a lowlife piece of scum not a fan. Call me anything you want as I've been called worse by BETTER

Are you a child? No, serious question. "I've been called worst by BETTER" who says that in 2016?? Look guy, I don't know your angle, and personally I don't care about your angle, but you act like bottles were thrown in the vicinity of players or even referees. They threw them on the field...a very empty field. I don't know how many football games you've watched or been too, but our fans reaction was rather mild. And aren't you a bit judgmental on calling someone who throw a bottle a "lowlife piece of scum?" Who the F are you? Again, I stand by my reply to your holier than thou post.

Only ppl who didn't like it was FSU fans. Recruits loves it even Mark Richt stats the fans were awesome and passionate. Throw team is good and got screwed by poor officiating more than once so fans reacted. We finally have real fans at games and you're complaining? We are Hurricane fans we are ******** period.

Stick it as if anyone can be accurate throwing a bottle. There were plenty of media people standing behind west end zone that had bottles fly over their heads. My angle is human beings don't endanger other human beings. So if you don't like my take too bad because it is what it is. In 1980 in Gainesville Coach Christ Vagotis our D/L coach was struck in the head with a bottle precipitating Howard kicking last second FG Half the bottles didn't reach field endangering innocent REAL fans below. Go up to Gainesville where your attitude would fit right in

Real fans cheer and make noise that is passion Idiots throw bottles Richt will never condone bottle throwing as he was on sideline in Gainesville when Coach Vagotis was struck in head
