East Carolina, while not good at the time, was not as bad as they are nowadays. And everything you said. Weird game all around.

I dont agree that I’ve ever said anything idiotic ever In life and I knew you already manned up before I commented but the post still triggered me so I had to get it off my chest.

They were not bad that season, and they had two pretty decent QBs, including Garrard, and they ran a pretty good offense
under Steve Logan.
It's been a few years, but I vaguely remembering our defense was also missing some players, especially on defense.
As you say, it was a weird game and week all-around.
I drive up to DC from Miami a few days later and parts of I95 in NC remained flooded and closed.
Also, we had that last second loss to StatePenn at the OB.
Just a weird month, all-around.

Triggered me too. I was one of the biggest Mario haters out there and after the 2023 Ga Tech game I was pretty much done with him. Glad he turned it around.

Was that Penn State game the one when Chafie Fields scored on a long TD toward the end of the game? I think he toasted Mike Rumph.
 
🤣 Though I am happy with Mensah over any QB in portal - my question was would he come here - and he did not come here, and Yes we pursued him. Anyone who thinks Miami did not make overtures, do some research.
