I'll contest that and say he had a chance to serviceable/decent here. He had the advantage of playing on the other side of J Smith in high school and I don't really see explosiveness or anything special there. He's not really a burner and as we know his hands are average at best. Yes we would have allowed him to stay, but I don't think Beard and Dawson were heartbroken when he left.

VA is going with the Indiana model this year. All 5th 6th and 7th year players on the OL. Grown men tend to dominate in the trenches, even if they are not prototypical NFL bodies.

Edit: I'm not saying they will have the same success as IU. Just the same model of grown *** men in the trenches.
