You didn’t feel good about the o line in 2013 and 2014? Guys like Flowers, Linder, Henderson, Feliciano.Cool thought. This is the worst the OL will be under Mario (most likely).. and this is the best I've felt about our OL since Stoutland. We byke.
Ok so I'm off by a season or two. It all runs together tbh. (thought that group overlapped)You didn’t feel good about the o line in 2013 and 2014? Guys like Flowers, Linder, Henderson, Feliciano.
Nah more like 8-9 seasonsOk so I'm off by a season or two. It all runs together tbh. (thought that group overlapped)
When I try to think back, I just start crying again.
Zion 5th? That's kinda crazy. It seems that NFL draft pundits hold him in higher regard than we do, which is rather surprising. Does anyone here think that's warranted?I like Campbell and wouldn't have any issues with them deciding to roll with him until Zion is 100%, even if that's after A&M.
BUT.. CBS released a mock draft today that had Zion going 5th overall. I don't put much stock in the mock draft, but it does stand out as another example of Zion's talent and high expectations. So if he's ready to play, he needs to play.
Seems like we've tried the Scaife at RG experiment multiple times now and his best position is RT.
I'd prefer to go with Zion/Campbell at LT and Scaife/ Campbell or Cooper at RT, until after A&M.
My question is at backup C if something happens to Clark. Yeah we have guys who can play the position. But I don't wanna see any fumbles/bad snaps due to unfamiliarity. Didn't the turnover near the goal line happen when Denis come in to replace Clark?
Did it in 2010 a lot. Franklin, Horn, Gunn, Washington were the main starters. Then guys like Henderson, Figueroa, Linder, and Jermaine Johnson rotated in. Whipple would run a lot of sets with 6 OL.can't we play 6 OL?
i'm not joking.
Justice instead of Logan?Zion/Rivers/Clark/Logan/Campbell
Scaife rotating in at RT & RG
Yeah 5th overall sounds like a reach. I have a hard time believing he'll go that high, but the hype is real.Zion 5th? That's kinda crazy. It seems that NFL draft pundits hold him in higher regard than we do, which is rather surprising. Does anyone here think that's warranted?
Once upon a time, didn't we use a young Reggie Youngblood in unbalanced sets? Or was it another young tackle?can't we play 6 OL?
i'm not joking.
Yep. We also did it a bunch in the 2010-2014 era when we had a lot of big linemen.Once upon a time, didn't we use a young Reggie Youngblood in unbalanced sets? Or was it another young tackle?
I’ve been saying this is the best five ZN, JR, JC, DS and JC.I like Campbell at RT and Scaife at RG. The only concern would be moving Campbell around just as he’s finding his footing.
i knew we have run it from time to time years ago, maybe under kehoe and stoutland.Once upon a time, didn't we use a young Reggie Youngblood in unbalanced sets? Or was it another young tackle?
This seems like the obvious lineup.Surprised to see supporters of Scaife at guard.
Final prediction: LT Nelson -- LG Rivers -- C Clark -- RG Campbell -- RT Scaife
