Winston suspended

ESPN's Mark Schlabach's article

How many strikes will Winston get?

Then again, it's not as if Florida State officials have done much to curb his questionable behavior. Whenever Winston ran afoul of the law in the past, FSU officials essentially shrugged their shoulders and waved it off as Jameis being Jameis.

As many as he needs. He won a Heisman and a NC. FSU isn't tossing him no matter what he does. They sold their soul, they're ridin' with the guy.

wow fsu fans feeling the same way everyone else is about winston and his stupid acts? shocking really

It's rather insightful that in his "opening statement" regarding the incident, he apologizes to: the team, the university and to his coaches but he never mentions the girl.

Not trying to defend this big c**t, but if he claims that she is lying on him, why would he apologize or mention her? Wouldn't that be like admitting some sort of guilt. Makes no sense on his part to do so.

Yeah, pretty cagey strategy on his part!

Iirc the whole event was captured on an iPhone.

Yeah, so why admit what is obvious and irrefutable. That makes no sense. Is that it?

Uh.... The reason he should apologize is because his behavior was clearly offensive to someone else, and he was being a douche (again). His failure to accept responsibility is more of the same scum bag behavior.

Do you really believe in situational ethics? Lie, if it benefits you and you can get away with it?

Really?

Poor FSU. lol It's just not worth it... Keeping this guy.

He had a lot of help. And I think you're right to qualify that as a college QB. I think he goes undrafted at the present rate because he does not appear to be close to being done making mistakes that show terrible judgment.

Crablegs Jameis is living proof that you don't have to be very intelligent to be a successful college football quarterback. It helps and most are, but clearly not in this case.

I thought his punishment would have been run around Bobby's Statue 10 times and call it good. They don't have anymore patsies on their schedule.

Does that mean we don't have to see Winston do his stupid homo handshake with Jimbo's dumb**** kid? That's a bonus.

why are sports "reporters" so chicken----? the FSU official tells them no questions on non-football related matters -- And they just comply?

what a joke
