Maaaan McGahee is what everyone woulda been comparing AP to when he came out of Oklahoma....fvck Ohio state for that intentional knee shot smfh.

I keep forgetting how disgustingly fast Willis and Gore were pre kne injuries..

I still think if Mcgahee didn’t get injured, the lions would have taken him instead of Charles Rogers. What could have been...

Gaethers remains one of the all time mysteries to me. Guy had it all and wasn’t an unmotivated ******* who wasted his opportunities. Still can’t believe he didn’t find a nice niche in the league.

Sadly, this program is littered with guys like that - Carlos Jones, James Stewart, and so many more...

You know for all these years I thought Jason gathers caught that screen and willis ran it in on the next play.

I also thought Geathers was underrated. Guys like him and Beard were such great teammates and true Canes. Losing Beard late in 2002 hurt. The missed field goal by FSU was epic too. There was 1 second left and it was a 43 yard field goal. It seemed like the whole program was on the line. There was nothing like the Canes being ranked #1 and at home.
