Good for Williams, and those jerseys are fly.
Sorry, but Darrin Smith does NOT belong in that conversation if we're talking HS athletes. He transformed himself after he got to college. No doubt about it.
James Williams is a great prospect, but he is not in Willy’s stratosphere, in my opinion.
In my opinion, Willy is up there with Sean Taylor, Jerome Brown, Darrin Smith and Derrick Thomas as the greatest athletic freaks on defense to ever come out of the state of Florida.
Randy Shannon had a hard time getting along with Randy Shannon.Didn't he have a hard time getting along with Randy Shannon?
I think they were polar opposite in personality...
Foresight is rare and a gift. Hindsight is 100% guaranteed Inevitable. That’s what happens with time and age. But yes, you have to hand it to him, he’s turned himself around. This could have gone in so many different ways. The most destructive of which, would be regret, self hate, and more destructive ways. He chose good.Would Willie Williams of the past listen to Willie Williams of the future? No way. Many kids just got to find out life the hard way. Glad the guy has turned himself around.
Can’t believe he is 37. I figured he was 26.
No way James Williams was as highly acclaimed as Da Predator. Not even close.
I saw Freddie play 3 times in 79 before I went to Culinary school....He was a sight to behold...5'10 190lbs of Electricity....Kid should have started day one. Might have ended up on a different trajectory. In my opinion, Freddie Miles is the best offensive player and Willie Williams is the best defensive player to come out of Dade in the last 50 years. Irony is both had troubled youths.
Randy F-ed WW as much as WW F-ed himself. @Poopscoop touched upon this multiple times.Didn't he have a hard time getting along with Randy Shannon?

He have any eligibility left?
I figured it would be Jennings that got the nod.Pshhhhh, Diaz would still start Flagg over WW.
The two best high school players I have ever seen live are Willie and Quan Bolden. Both would have been 6 stars. Men, real men.Best I've seen in 45yrs of watching Fl HS FB...He'd be a 6* today....
Warren Sapp as wellNo doubt about it.

Freddie Miles...pride of Miami SpringsKid should have started day one. Might have ended up on a different trajectory. That's not true...I remember being so stoked when Miami got him...just never could stay out of trouble. Nice to see he turned his life around
@Poopscoop ....if they only saw how bad onion misused him....That's not true...
