Barry Jackson just said he asked Dugans if he'd be the WR coach next year and Dugans declined to comment. TIFWIW. Still holding out hope he stays based off Tweed's confidence.
Miami Hurricanes excited about new receivers, tight ends | Miami Herald
Welp
Unacceptable. If we can't compete with FSU in keeping our good coaches we will never be a championship level program again.
Dugans is worth the extra money. He got production out of mediocre guys like Langham. The WR core was one of the most consistent, hard working and toughest blocking groups in college football and he's an A plus recruiter.
Pay the man.
It's not money.
It's going back to his alma mater AND getting a Co-OC title, which Taggart is offering.
As others have said, can't hate him if he goes. He did a great job here and helped turn the position around. At the same time, no WR coach in the country is irreplaceable. Richt has made excellent hires so far and has extensive contacts. I'm confident he'll hire someone good to replace him.
If you're a good college team, your coaches are going to get poached. that happens even at Alabama
Doesn't he technically already have that? He is the passing game coordinator for UM, with Brown being the running game coordinator.
