No, and Yad Vashem in Israel has a stern policy that nothing is ever compared to the Holocaust in any respect. That said, I am not a proponent of erasing history and removing monuments and statues because they inspire reverence for what is now an unfavorable cause.

Every thread is turning into a free for all. I know talking about Covid with respect to attendance is pertinent, or southern schools with their Dixie roots has some bearing, especially if we can use it to differentiate ourselves, but otherwise, it’s getting poisonous.

I got banned from the COVID forum for no apparent reason. You might recall I was a frequent poster on that forum in the beginning. I even privately asked for an explanation and nada. I did not tell anyone to off themselves, nor did I disrespect anyone. Things did get political there because there were policy decisions being made in regards to the pandemic. I just was on the wrong political side apparently.

So the way I see it is you either make it a free for all or you enforce the rules even handedly. Right now you have something kind of in between which is not helping either.
