This isn't the A&M game. It's at night and tickets are significantly cheaper. I'd expect in the area of 50-55k. Plus people will be rowdy from tailgating for hours. Saturday is my dad's funeral so we'll both be there in spirit.

Bethune was bad. Like pathetic. Honestly, if you told me it was 20K-25K I would say that seems right. If I had to guess what A&M was I would say 48K seems accurate for real people in the seats. Miami OH was probably like 40K.

Our fans have sucked this year because we have a bunch of entitled fans. Many are on this board. I'm hoping we get the crowd we had for A&M. The lower bowl seems completely sold out, for all intents and purposes. The upper bowl seems about half sold. That gets you to 45K. If we get 50K for the game I think that's a good number. It should be 55K-60K, given the circumstances. Ole miss played them and probably had 62K in the stands.

Moving the BCU game to a Thursday night game was beyond foolish. That move probably cost about 5-8K of fan attendance.

Herbie has always been a fan of the program. I believe his comments two years ago on the lack of support for the program helped force the change that brought us Mario, NIL, the new facilities, and the new football budget. So the guy deserves an honorary degree IMHO.

Don’t know how this will affect actual bodies in the stands, but this is the game they were giving the free ticket to when you bought an A&M ticket during that promotion. That could skew the tickets available numbers and actual butts in seats.

Saturday night game in Miami, people will be hitting the local bars and getting out which should extend into the game. I’d say about 45k would be a great turnout

True …..Texas A&M was what 48,000 in the middle of the afternoon and it was loud enough to bother the QB a few times and cause a few false starts.

That wasn't caused by fans, it was due to our Defense clapping and making their offense jump...just ask Jimbo.
