If they haven't set up an official the recruit has been dropped.
I want Wiggins.
Coaches are also heading up to see Becker today.
It appears Rumph has contacted him , so maybe they aren't dropping him.
Hopefully we keep Deion Jackson as well.
Maybe Rumph got in Richts ear and said he's a take? Hopefully works out for the kid either wayStrange that they reached out to him now. Most of the class was reached out to by Richt before this week. Aside from the ones I mentioned as most likely drops.

Spoke to #Canes DB commit James Wiggins right now. He said he has yet to hear from Richt on the phone, Wiggins visits Miami next weekend

South Dade DB James Wiggins said that the new staff "hasn't really been on him" #Canes

Wiggins has had conversation with CB Coach Mike Rumph though, so the communication line is still there between the two sides #Canes

I personally like James Wiggins a lot as a prospect. Versatile athlete with burst on the defensive side of the ball

.
It appears he may be the lowest rated DB on the recruiting board...Offers with Cinn. Purdue. Sou. Fla seem to be the only other interested schools.

I know Wiggins is a freaky athlete with pretty good upside. Any idea or rough guess on what his 40 time is?
Wiggins (5-11, 180) had setup an official visit for this weekend but now that appears to be off. In fact, he's not sure how much longer his commitment will last either.
"They haven't contacted me about the visit and that's pretty much it," Wiggins said. "It's all quiet so I'm not sure how they feel about me. I don't know what's happening and I'm most likely going to decommit soon."
A new program has decided to move quickly with Wiggins and they're hoping that will pay dividends even before national signing day.
"I'm going on an official visit to Illinois starting tomorrow," Wiggins said. "I'm actually doing a home visit with them tonight. Next weekend I'm not sure anymore, Temple hasn't called to give any information. I'm making my final decision on Monday though anyway."
The Fighting Illini's efforts are being led by a familiar face for Hurricane fans. Wiggins had pre-existing relationship for obvious reasons.
"Paul Williams was the defensive backs coach (at Miami) and now he went to Illinois," Wiggins said. "He contacted me and said they have an opening for me to play right away. We've been talking more and more so we decided to setup a visit this weekend."
Cincinnati is the other main program in the mix for Wiggins. They became the first school outside of South Florida's borders to host him on campus for a visit.
Looks like he IS being dropped:
