Why not T-Rob for DC?

Never heard of him, but we need to start getting coaches where the first sentence doesn't say outstanding recruiter. That's what all of our coaches are now and look at us. We need some coaches that can teach Xs and Os.

FWIW while at Alabama Pruitt coached the secondary. He was considered one of the BEST RECRUITERS in the country. Many thought Saben coached the secondary himself, giving Pruitt the freedom he needed to RECRUIT like a beast. He now is considered a very good coach and recruiter.

The current linebacker coach at Arkansas was a first time coordinator who won the Broyles Award in 2001 for coaching a bunch of NFL players.

For those doubting Moss, he's actually well respected in the NFL and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a nfl DC job soon. On another note, dude is familiar with the 3-4 defense. I'd take that guy over D'Onofrio in a heartbeat.

When the **** are we going to hire a coach that knows how to freaking coach? People think that talent alone will win you titles because we won one in 2001 on talent alone. What people forget is that the talent had a tough SOB to teach them for a few years. Talent alone won't win you anything anymore without good coaching to get the most out of it. We were more talented than most of the teams we played this year. How did that work out?

Someone once said that good recruiters are known for recruiting, because they aren't good at coaching. Good coaches win, and winning recruits a **** of a lot for you. If your coaches suck, you need them to at least be good sweet talkers. I'm tired of "recruiters". Give me some tough coaches that get Ws on game day, not sweet talkers that get Ws on signing day, then lose games because they are clueless.
