Why is Lawrence Cager a fan favorite?

Sorry I’m not a fan of a 6’5 WR who can’t make a contested catch, ******.

His TDs have come against powerhouses like Savanna St, FIU, and Toledo. Sure he’s 2nd on the team in yards at 240 yards. That is a whooping 40 yards per game.

a WR's best friend is an uncontested catch, made from an on-target throw.

I would say if you go back through the tape that most of the throws to Cager were on the money and uncontested, besides the two fades in the end zone...

he had 2 TDs against FSU. one was very contested, the other was 1 v 1 and he shook the sh*t out of the defender at the line of scrimmage to get open, because he has unbelievable quickness for a guy his size.

check out his catch against ND last year and tell me he cant make a contested catch. ignorance

My thing with Cager was my issue with a former Mizzou receiver Dorial Green-Beckham. All that talent and no work ethic. Too lazy to develop their craft.
