Why do we seem to have such weak schedules.

To compare last year..
Notre Dame>>Nebraska--Notre Dame is far better than Nebraska was
Appy State<Cincinnati--not too far apart, honestly
FAU--same
FAMU--same
Plus they will play 3 games in 14 days in October next year. The 2015 schedule was definitely easier. Thank God for Dabo and Banners.

Seriously, Miami's schedule could easily allow for 11-1. However, playing UNC and VT in five days is brutal. UNC and VT (with Fuente) will run a faced paced spread offense that gets people injured. Not to mention Blackburg is always tough on Thursday nights. So while it looks easy based on the teams, the timing of certain games are set up terribly. Why is our bye week always so early?

Don't we open against LSU next season? That could potentially be a huge game for us. But Notre Dame late could help us if we are in the playoff picture. (not saying we will, but that could be a big game.) Plus, you gotta imagine Clemson is gonna be waiting for whoever in the ACCCG.

Let's magnify miami 's out of conference schedule while the Alabama's and Florida's of the world schedule powerhouses Jacksonville state, Chattanooga, the local community college and middle diagonal north western east bum**** culinary arts for the dyslexic every single god **** year

We've played Ohio state, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Oklahoma state, Michigan state coming up, notre Dame even before they were acc. We have lsu in a few years

Id say we have a pretty good history of strong ooc schedules compared to most teams

Texas Tech? We haven't played them since 1990. And I can't remember us playing Oklahoma State ever. We have recently played Nebraska and Kansas State who were really solid OOC games. Going back further, we've had home-and-home series with Washington, UCLA, and Arizona State. Wish we would schedule some Pac-12 teams for our OOC games. That would make for a fun trip!

No, we play LSU in Jerry's World in Dallas to open the 2018 season. No Kaaya for us and no Fournette for LSU.

My apologies Texas A&M not Texas Tech and for some reason I thought we played okie state but guess not. Was going off the top of my head

Point being the last decade or so we have played at least respectable ooc schedules compared to most teams in my opinion

If it were up to me I would keep a cupcake / community game of the FAMU/BCU rotation. Our 2nd OOC would be the best team out of UCF, USF, FIU, or FAU, if all 4 of those teams have a bad year I schedule an away game to a team like Rice, or any mid conference team in good recruiting territory...3rd game would be reserved for a classic rival like UF, ND, OSU, any school that we have established some hates for...my 4th game would be a P-5 team with a respectable coach, and that we never really play

We play LSU in 2018 and rumored to play Arkansas in 2017. UF also rumored for 19/20

Arkansas or Arkansas State in 2017? Because I know we're playing @Arkansas State in 2017. My cousin lives in Fayetteville so I hope you're right about Arkansas. That would set up for a nice road trip for me.

next year we open with LSU, I believe they'll get more difficult nationally but its a process (lol) as many of these were set years ago

I know we got rumors on Arkansas, I may be wrong about the year but I'm sure it was the SEC one not state.

Edit: Yea I was wrong about 2017...we play A-State, Toledo, BCU(unless they change this rotation), and Notre Dame next year.

No more FAMU.

Not surprised you would say this seeing that your name is "arizonacane"...your state dont even acknowledge MLK day.

So why is it that FAMU should be off that schedule and not FAU? They both sorry as *****. At least FAMU brings the Marching 100. And a legit 10-20k crowd of alumni and students. FAU cant even get 15k to come to Sunlife and they are 3x the enrollment size of FAMU.

Also, FAMU has tradition down here. The Orange Blossom Classic game was a tradition down here for minorities in the 60s and 70s (and even further back then that) so FAMU has hella roots in the south florida community. FAU and FIU dont give us **** but headaches. FAU stadium sucks and isnt big enough..and FIU players are so jealous they didnt get UM offers they would rather brawl with us then play.

So no, FAMU should not be off the schedule. Do we need to play them every year? No. But hosting them once every 3 years doesnt hurt us and the attendance is always solid considering we are playing a school that doesnt have a player who would be on our scout team.

(And yes I am a FAMU alumni. Wont say my class. Im ole' school though.)

Why do you have to make it political? FAU is a much better game than FAMU, stop being salty.

No, it's not...Lmao...FAU sucks and we get no points for beating them...I agree it's better to stick with the community classic.
Marching 100 > FAU/FIU

I was thinking the same thing. Gives the kids more time to adjust to new staff. on the other hand the October schedule will be tough!
