This has been happening for years now and I don't understand why not a single staff can rectify it. Are we just recruiting small players, and if so, why aren't they at least fast? You can't convince me that there's a lack of speed in South Florida football, even after the Georgias, Bamas and OSUs take who they want from the most elite group of prospects. Programs like UCF don't have trouble finding speed within the state...but if you're going to be slow, at least have the capacity to be physical. We have neither. Our players tend to look small next to other P5 programs and even compared to our early 2000s teams which were definitely faster than today's roster, our skill players mostly look like HS kids. Meanwhile, UNC's RBs (especially Hood) were falling forward and breaking tackles. Both lines for them looked stronger and more stout. I know it's just year 1 of Mario's tenure, but when the **** are we finally going to solve this problem?
