Frankly because we are locked into Mario for at least 4 years and for the fact that this is the best coaching staff (on paper) Miami has had since the early 2000's, I have no other choice than to convince myself that this team is no where near as talented as what I had hoped they would be. Hopefully he can bring in the kids, more specifically, the kids with the character to bring this team to the consistent 10 win level.
Still, blowout losses at home to MTSU and Duke are really inexcusable.
Anyway, hopefully Mario starts playing the guys who will compete and don't think their star value will automatically translate to wins on the field. No other way to look at it as other than a full rebuild and hope to see the team develop and improve on a week-by-week basis - even if it doesn't translate to a win. Big time failure this past week though.
