He had a decent drive where he moved us down the field, think most of it was on the ground. Got to the goaline but a bad snap killed the drive and resulted in a turnover . It could have been after the took their starters out though, now that I think about it

We want a guy who hasn't played a snap all season to start against the #4 team in the nation on the road? A guy who played last year against this team and went 5/9 for 37 yards and an INT? That's our guy? Just shoot me.
There are zero options.

TVD- is cooked
Emory- who the **** knows
Brown- can’t throw but can run

All I am certain of is, TVD will have us down 17 in the first quarter.

Rather take the unknown than the known if TVD is involved

The Tyler should start crowd is insanity lol. He is broken, and he is not going to magically be fixed by continuing to put him out there. He needs to take some time away and go somewhere with a fresh start.
The crowd that keeps saying Jaccuri can’t pass have we not seen Tyler the last 4 games lol. Bc Qb is not known as a passer either but he made it work vs FSU for sure.

Williams only worked if they kept him the starter after the Clemson game. Had he played four quarters against Virginia and North Carolina State, then great—this is game four.

You don't roll that kid and a Tecmo Bowl playbook into Tallahassee and get a win this weekend—as you won't be able to keep pace with Florida State's offense—like the type of 17-17 game that sent Clemson to overtime. No chance.

I cannot even begin to wrap my head around this type of logic.

EVERYTHING in life is relative. Relatively speaking, he's our best option. You've got a "veteran" QB with the case of the yips that would make Macky Sasser and Chuck Knobloch laugh.....and then another QB option who isn't accurate, doesn't have that much more experience than EW, and was clearly beat out by EW on the depth chart THIS year.

Not only is he our best option RIGHT NOW, but he gives us a window into just how frantically we need to attack the portal next offseason. If he plays well the rest of this year, then we're set at the most important position and can focus our attention on building up the other weaker areas of the roster. If he doesn't play well......then you know you better start raising up funds to attack the portal aggressively with NIL money.

Either way, the fact he did or did not play the last two games falls on the incompetence of Mario....and in life you never compound one mistake (not playing him) with another mistake (not playing him again). There is ZERO risk in playing him at this point since winning the ACC is no longer an option. We are literally holding try outs for next year at this point.

How bad must Emory and JB look in practice to not even sti TVD out for an extra game to get healthy

He’s been lucky , he’s had a bunch of them hit db’s hands. They’ve had a lot of breaks too , fumbles rolling out of bounds, missed calls , a penalty taking away turnovers , star players of opponents keep getting hurt etc. I keep telling my Noles friends “ it’s almost like it’s meant to be this year“, I send that to then them when one of these breaks happen.
I've been saying this to my dad all year. He insists they are bound to lose one whether before or in the CFP. But it's like every bounce, every opponent injury etc has gone their way this year. I hate to admit it

We sold our souls to the devil for the 80’s / 2000
we Were anomaly. teams like us dont ever win. we've had literally two successful periods ever other than that were mediocre. thats my reasoning as to why we never seem to get back and seem to hit a ceiling

Clemson that almost beat #4 💩💩💩💩 ? The same Clemson that The Canes beat ? If the information that was given on CIS is correct TVD was supposed to have started against Clemson? So Emory played and helped win that game even though he didn’t get snaps with the 1st team? A good Qb will play ball no matter what he will be ready to help win and support the team.

He should be motivated then

I agree. And to expand on this being the biggest game of his career, @Cribby, is TVD gone no matter what at the end of the season. Or does he return based on his performance closing out this year. NFL is not an option for him right now, he won’t get drafted.
If I’m betting I bet a large amount he’s not here next year. As in everything I own.
