I stand corrected. Tyler does not deserve a cool nickname.Nicknames are given by others based upon the respect that person earns. If you're a loser, you get a loser nickname.
He was making great passes the last 6 games of 2021 and the first few games of 2023 thus he earned Tyler Van Dimes.
Now, he's throwing passes to defenders at a record clip and can't even throw a 3 yard screen pass, therefore Tyler Van Dump is a great nickname.
Simple question who’s answer I’d like to see quantified among the fanbase. Reply with your why.
The entire purpose of this thread was to get them to list themselves lmao.

So first possessionStart him. Pull him after a bad turnover.
Well ok but that has 0 to do with what I posted.No. I'm not going to make fun of a college kid for having a mental meltdown or give him a mean nickname.
I remember in college going through a real bad breakup and it was like the end of the world at the time. School, food, work- my mind was stuck in a negative feedback loop because I didn't have enough life experience to know that I'd get over it.
For whatever reason it look like TVD went into a mental downward spiral. It's a coach's job to either get him out of the funk or to do what is in the best interest of the team and sit him. The one thing a coach CANT do is keeping putting a mentally broken QB out on the field because every mistake the QB makes is only going to make things worse for him.
Hypothetically let's say that TVD fractured his clavicle 3 weeks ago, but Cristobal kept putting him on the field because TVD told Cristobal he felt good enough to play. We knew that every time he got hit it would make the injury worse. Who bears responsibility? I say its 99% on the coach because players will always put on a brave face and say they can play. A mental problem isn't any different than a physical problem, except that it's not visible.

The season is done. The ACC title game is out the window once again. Start your young guy and staple the golfer to the bench and tell him to pack his clubs after the season ends.
Then start a qb who at least gives a **** and is a guy people want to play with. The only guy who wants to play with Van Dyke is Restrepo.Except there are 85 kids who have a quarter of their season left to play and want to play well, want to win, want to improve, want to get better, etc.
They're not miserable message board rats who pick their noses and fill their diapers on their couches.
Try to play well, win games, and improve both yourself and the trajectory of your program.
