I expect the defense to make a big jump next year. Steele isn’t a bad coach and Strong is solid. They will sort this thing out.

steele isnt a bad coach. id rather see a younger DC In there that can roll w mario recruiting wise. id prefer steele off field. strong is fine as a position coach at this point but he hasnt called a defense in a long time esp w modern offenses and i dont want him to.

To me I think Steele not being on the road and Strong everywhere has me thinking it’ll be Strong and we will hire DVD as a position coach since Strong will stay with the LBs and we will replace Addae for someone who can step into the DC role in 2 years

It always makes me a little uneasy when you start promoting people from within a defense that wasn’t very good to begin with
